Hi, I'm Jo
I’m a Master’s qualified counsellor and Level 2 member of the Australian Counselling Association, providing evidence-informed therapeutic support for adolescents and adults.
I support people who feel overwhelmed, stretched, or not quite themselves—helping them build practical strategies to navigate life with more clarity and confidence.
About my work
I work with people experiencing a range of challenges, including:
Depression and low mood
Anxiety and overthinking
Trauma and emotional overwhelm
Life transitions and periods of change
Personal growth and self-understanding
You don’t need a specific label or clear reason to start—if something feels difficult to manage, that’s enough.
I welcome NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants seeking counselling support.
My approach
My approach is warm, practical, and down-to-earth.
Sessions are guided by your needs and focus on building practical skills that support emotional regulation, self-understanding, and day-to-day functioning.
We might explore what’s going on, look at patterns, process emotions, and develop strategies to help you feel steadier and in control.
My work is trauma-informed, and I am currently undertaking further training in complex trauma.
About me
I’m a Kalgoorlie local and have lived here my whole life. I’m proud to offer counselling in Kalgoorlie and telehealth support across Australia.
Living and working in a regional community, I understand the unique challenges people face—limited access to services, isolation, and the need for flexible, accessible support.
I value genuine connection and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves.
You can come as you are—there’s no need to have everything figured out before starting.
